What are Articles and Blocks?

In Atobi, we often refer to Articles and Blocks, so let’s clarify what we are talking about πŸ•΅οΈ


An Article is any content you are building and publishing in your organization. It is composed of a set of building blocks πŸ—οΈ that gives you the flexibility to create what you need, such as:

  • Product update info with videos πŸ“Ή and pdfs πŸ–‡οΈ
  • Product recall news with a todo list βœ”οΈ
  • Training material πŸ“š
  • Campaign roll-outs πŸ“
  • Or all of the above in one πŸ’ͺ

The benefit of Articles and blocks is that you can quickly gather all relevant information, requirements, expectations, questions, and actions in a single place!

But What is a Block?

Each Article consists of blocks. Think of them like LEGO bricks that give you the freedom to build your imagination.

There are different types of blocks, such as: Text, video, pdf, files, article links, and action blocks. Action blocks is where Atobi shines. There are different types of action blocks that all empowers you to push your expectations to all your store staff and gather data back. Some of the actions are:

  • Tasks: request employees to complete a task and add a deadline if its needed.
  • Media tasks: request employees to share a picture from the store.
  • Quiz: test employees' knowledge about a topic.
  • Open Question: gather employees' opinions on a topic.

For all actions, you can add a deadline and adjust settings, such as Category, Privacy, if it's Mandatory or not, and more. It might sound complex, but don't worry about not knowing everything right away. You can take it step by step.


What can I use it for?

By combining actions, text, videos, and PDFs, only your imagination is the limit.

Table of contents

Now on web app you can see a table of contents that will be generated automatically in published articles based on headings and subheadings.

What can you use this for?

If you have long articles the table of contents will be very helpful since it will provide you with a clear and structured overview of the article's content.


The table of contents will be available on the mobile app as well very soon.
