Activities - How to Create

Activities are nugget-sized training bites, which the members can complete in 1-3 minutes. This allows them to take training while on the shop floor, i.e., during a short break or when there are no customers in the store. Here you can unleash your creativity even more.

With Atobi, it is possible to create 4 different types of activities:

  • Questions: The member must answer a single question and/or upload an image/video to complete the activity. The member has to complete the task before they can see other members' answers.
  • Quiz: Requires the member to choose between multiple answers. A Quiz must have at least 2 possible answers (1 correct and 1 wrong).
  • File: Requires the member to open a file, such as a .pdf, to complete the task.
  • Simple: The member can complete it right away with nothing required. Useful for showing an image or video, as well as written messages.

It is possible to create a new activity in two different ways:

Option 1:
Go to Admin -> Missions -> Activities, click "Create new", and follow the steps.

Option 2:
Go to Admin -> Missions -> Series, find the series you want to create an activity for, and click on the series name. 

How to Cree a Question, File, or Simple:

Type: Choose the type in the drop-down (Questions, File, Simple).

Name: The title of the activity as displayed to the member.

Content: It can be a combination of text and linked media, such as images, videos (only from YouTube or Vimeo), etc. If it is a question, it is important to explain what is the action expected from the member.
Series: Allows to see to which Series the activity belongs.
Show in App: Activate the button to make the activity visible in the app - blue = active.
Logo: Adding an image or a gif to the Mission helps the staff to identify the topic of the training itself and helps to perceive the training as something interesting and fun, rather than tedious and hard.
Attachment: It is possible to attach a document, a picture, or a video to the activity itself. It is a good practice to keep the content short, easy to understand, and straight to the point.
Create: Click "Create" and the activity is saved. 
How to create a Quiz:

Type: Choose the type "Quiz" in the drop-down.

Name: Is the title of the activity which is displayed to the member.

Question: Where to write the quiz question.
Answer: It is possible to indicate one or more correct answers in the Quiz. Activate the correct answer by pressing the button - blue = correct.
Loop:  With this function active (blue=active), the member cannot complete the activity before giving the correct answer. If the loop is not active (white=inactive), members will only get one chance on the quiz: regardless of their answers, they will get the next activity.
