Atobi ensures that all published content is private and accessible only to specified audiences. However, there are instances where sharing articles with external partners or providing easier access to certain employees is beneficial. Easy Access allows you to make channels public, enabling users without an Atobi account to view the content.

๐ค What is Easy Access?
Easy Access is an organizational setting that, when enabled, allows anyone with the channel's URL to access its content without needing an Atobi account. Visitors can view the channelโs content and will be prompted to provide a username or email. help.atobi.io
โNote: Easy Access must be enabled by an Atobi Customer Support representative.
๐ ๏ธ How to enable Easy Access?
Note: Only members with Channel Studio permissions can enable Easy Access on a channel.
Follow these steps to activate Easy Access for a channel:
- Navigate to Channel Studio.
- Create a new channel or edit one of your existing channels.
- Go through the steps of creating/editing a channel until you reach the the Easy Access setting.
- Click the toggle to Enable Easy Access.
- Once all settings are complete, click Review and Save the article to finalize.
Now, you can share direct links to an Easy Access channel or to articles published within an Easy Access channel.
๐ How to Share Article Links
To share a link to an Easy Access channel or article:
- Navigate to the specific channel or published article you wish to share with an external partner.
- Copy the URL from the browserโs toolbar.
Note: When copying the URL, ensure you are logged in through your personal platform URL, not the generic app.atobi.io URL.
- Share the link via email or other communication tool.
Now, people outside your organization can access the channel or article.
- If you share the direct link, people will be prompted to create a new user by providing their username or email.
- If you export the article as a SCORM article, people will be auto-created.
๐ Easy Access Login Flow
When accessing an Easy Access channel or article, the flow will vary based on your login status, whether you're a first-time user or a returning user. Below are the possible scenarios you'll encounter:
- First-Time Access
- First-Time Access When Someone Elseโs Token is Saved
- Returning Users with Saved Token
- Returning Users with No Saved Token
1. First-Time Access
If you're accessing the platform link for the first time, you will need to create an account before you can view the content:
- Click the Create Account button.
- Enter your email or username, name, and select the store you work for.
- After completing the registration form, click Next to create your account.
- Once your account is created, you'll gain access to the content.
2. First-Time Access When Someone Elseโs Token is Saved
If someone else has previously logged in on the same browser or device and their token is saved, you will see the following:
- A screen showing a list of all members under your store.
- If your account has not been created yet, you will need to click on Create account and fill in your email or username, name, and select your store.
- After registering, youโll be able to access the channel or article.
3. Returning Users with Saved Token
If you have previously logged in and your login token is saved (i.e., you are already authenticated), you wonโt need to re-enter your credentials. Instead:
- You'll be prompted with a list of profiles under your store.
- Simply select your profile from the list to access the content.
4. Returning Users with No Saved Token
If you already have an account, but you are logging in from a browser that doesn't have your login token saved, you will be prompted to enter your email or username in the provided field.
- After entering your credentials, you will be able to access the content.
