🔓 Atobi Easy Access

By default, all content published in Atobi is private and accessible only to the specific audiences you define. However, there may be times when you want to share certain articles with external partners who don't use Atobi, or maybe provide easier access to some employees. Easy Access allows you to make channels public so users don’t need an Atobi account to view the content.

When Easy Access is enabled for a channel, anyone with the URL can access it. Visitors will be able to view the channel’s content and will be prompted to provide a username or email.

⚙️ Easy Access is an organization setting that an Atobi Customer Support person must enable.

  1. Navigate to the specific channel or published article you wish to share with an external partner.
  2. Copy the URL from the browser’s toolbar.

When copying the URL, ensure you are logged in through your personal platform URL, not the generic app.atobi.io URL.

Now, people outside your organization can access the channel or article.

Easy Access Login Flow

When accessing an Easy Access channel or article, the flow will vary based on your login status, whether you're a first-time user or a returning user. Below are the possible scenarios you'll encounter:

  1. First-Time Access
  2. First-Time Access When Someone Else’s Token is Saved
  3. Returning Users with Saved Token
  4. Returning Users with No Saved Token

1. First-Time Access

If you're accessing the platform link for the first time, you will need to create an account before you can view the content:

  • Click the Create Account button.
  • Enter your email or username, name, and select the store you work for.
  • After completing the registration form, click Next to create your account.
  • Once your account is created, you'll gain access to the content.

2. First-Time Access When Someone Else’s Token is Saved

If someone else has previously logged in on the same browser or device and their token is saved, you will see the following:

  • A screen showing a list of all members under your store.
  • If your account has not been created yet, you will need to click on Create account and fill in your email or username, name, and select your store.
  • After registering, you’ll be able to access the channel or article.

3. Returning Users with Saved Token

If you have previously logged in and your login token is saved (i.e., you are already authenticated), you won’t need to re-enter your credentials. Instead:

  • You'll be prompted with a list of profiles under your store.
  • Simply select your profile from the list to access the content.

4. Returning Users with No Saved Token

If you already have an account, but you are logging in from a browser that doesn't have your login token saved, you will be prompted to enter your email or username in the provided field.

  • After entering your credentials, you will be able to access the content.

Level Up?

You can maximize Easy Access by exporting articles as SCORM files. This allows external partners using SCORM-compliant LMS tools to seamlessly integrate your content.
