πΉ Permissions required: Only admins with the right access can manage achievements.
πΉ First-time access? If you just got permissions, log out and back in to activate it. π
π Managing Achievements
Inside Engagement Studio, achievements can have three states:
βοΈ Draft β Still being worked on, not yet visible to members. βοΈ
βοΈ Active β Available for members to see and earn! π
βοΈ Archived β No longer active, but still visible for those who earned them. π
Note: Anyone with access to Engagement Studio can view all achievements created on the platform! π
π¨ Creating Achievements
Before you get started, it's helpful to understand the components that make up an Achievement. As you build, you can customize each of these components.
1. Name & Description βοΈ
Every achievement needs:
A clear name β Make it engaging and easy to understand.
A short description β Explain the goal or reward.
π‘ Example:
π Title: "Checklist Master"
π Description: "Prove youβre a master of checklists! Earn this achievement and unlock a surprise reward!"
2. Achievement Triggers π―
What should members do to earn this achievement? You can set these triggers:
βοΈ Complete a certain number of articles π in a specific Channel π.
βοΈ Complete articles in a specific Category π·οΈ.
βοΈ Complete specific articles π.
βοΈ Set a minimum quiz score π for the achievement to be awarded.
π‘ Example:
π "Product Knowledge Pro" β Earned by completing 5 articles in the Product Training Channel with a minimum score of 80%.
β οΈ Important:
- Achievements do not work with recurring actions or team-based tasks where only one member per location completes them.
- If using the "Complete specific articles" trigger, ensure members have access to those articles!
3. Achievement Visuals π¨
Your achievement should look great! π¨ Members will see it on their profile page, so choose colors, icons, or images that make it stand out! π
Best Practice: Use icons or simple graphics instead of detailed images for better visibility.
4. Archive Date π
Want to make the achievement available for a limited time? Set an archive date! β³
Before the archive date β Members can earn the achievement.
After the archive date β It disappears for those who didnβt complete it, but remains visible to those who earned it.
5. Adding Rewards π
Want to increase motivation? Attach a reward to the achievement! π
πΉ Generic Rewards β The same reward for everyone (e.g., discount code). ποΈ
πΉ Personalized Rewards β Unique rewards manually assigned after completion (e.g., one-time vouchers). π«
π‘ Example:
π "Top Sales Performer" β Earners receive a personalized voucher for a team lunch! π½οΈ
Important: Achievements cannot be edited after a member has earned them! Make sure everything is correct before publishing. β
Best Practice: Announce new achievements with a Feed post! π₯ Highlight the criteria and reward to get everyone excited! π
π Tracking Achievements
Members can see their achievements in their profile page, categorized as:
π "In Progress" β Theyβre working toward earning it! πͺ
β "Failed" β They completed the articles but didnβt meet the criteria. π
β "Achieved" β They met the requirements and earned the achievement! π
π© Members receive a notification when they complete an achievement.
