Easy Access: Reach People Who Will Never Install Your App

Some of the people you most need to reach will never install your app — franchise staff, a retailer's own employees, seasonal hires, a partner's team. Easy Access lets them open your Atobi content from a plain link. No app, no account, no IT project. 🔓

🤔 What Easy Access Is

Normally, getting into Atobi means having an account: someone is created as a member, assigned to a location, and signs in. That is right for your own staff — and a wall for everyone at the edge of your network.

Easy Access takes the account off the critical path. Switch it on for a channel, and the content behind it opens from a link:

  • 🔗 A link opens the content — a single article, or a whole channel you keep filling.
  • ✍️ One-time registration — first-time visitors give a name, an email or username, and the store they work in. That's it. Next time on the same device, they just pick their profile.
  • 🏪 Results are attributed to a store — because they chose a location on the way in, their completions and answers land in your dashboards like anyone else's.

💡 Tip: That last point is what separates Easy Access from simply publishing a public web page. You are not broadcasting into the dark — you can see which partner stores engaged and what they answered.

🎯 Who It's For

Situation Why Easy Access fits
Franchise and partner stores They sell your products but are not your employees, so you cannot create accounts for them — and they would not accept it if you could.
You are the brand, they are the retailer The retailer's staff are not yours to administer. A link reaches them without a negotiation between two IT departments.
Seasonal and temporary staff Onboarding an account costs more than the campaign is worth when someone is there for six weeks.
A one-off campaign that needs to travel Product launches and seasonal pushes often need to reach further than your member list goes.
Anything you want in someone else's system A link can be dropped into an intranet, a portal, or embedded directly in a page. See below.

🧭 Where You Can Put It

An Easy Access link is an ordinary URL, which means it goes wherever your audience already is rather than asking them to come to you.

  • 📧 Sent directly — email, chat, a message from a field rep.
  • 📱 As a QR code — on the campaign's shipping box, a shelf talker, or a poster in the stockroom. This is often the highest-converting route, because it reaches the person while they are standing in front of the thing you are talking about.
  • 🌐 Linked from another system — a retailer's intranet, a supplier portal, a partner extranet.
  • 🖼️ Embedded inside another system — the content can be placed in an iframe so it appears as part of the retailer's own page, rather than sending people off to a different site. Atobi configures the receiving system on our side first.
  • 🎓 Inside a learning management system — for LMS delivery there is a dedicated route that reports completion back to the LMS. See SCORM Integration.

💡 Tip: Embedding is the strongest version of this. Staff never learn a new destination, never sign into anything, and never know they left the system they were already in — but you still get the engagement data back.

📊 You Still Get the Data

Once someone has registered, they are a real member. Everything you would normally measure still works:

  • 📈 Reach and completion per article
  • Action answers — quizzes, tasks, photo submissions — on the article's Insights tab
  • 🏪 Results by location, so you can compare partner stores against each other and against your own

⚖️ When Not to Use It

The link is the only gate there is. Anyone who has it can open the content and register.

⚠️ Important: Treat an Easy Access channel as publishable material. Internal pricing, commercially sensitive plans and anything covered by an NDA belong in a normal channel behind a login.

It is also not a replacement for proper membership. If you need reliable audiences, role-based permissions, push notifications and a lasting relationship with the person, create them as members.

🛠️ Ready to Set It Up?

Enabling Easy Access takes two things: a one-off setup by Atobi Customer Support on your platform, and then a toggle on the channel itself in Channel Studio.

The step-by-step guide, including the login flow your recipients will see and how to copy the right link, is here:

Note: If you want the content embedded in another system rather than opened from a link, contact Atobi Customer Support — the receiving system has to be configured before the embed will load.
