In Article Studio, you can create two types of content: Articles and Journeys. Each format supports different kinds of experiences — so you can choose the one that fits your goal best, whether you're publishing onboarding programs, learning journeys, visual merchandising surveys, store checklists, or anything else.

Format | Best for... | How it works |
---|---|---|
Article | News, checklists, visual merchandising, or reference content | Members can see everything all at once, and can complete actions in any order. |
Journey | Training, onboarding, or learning paths | Members complete sections and actions one-by-one. |
💡 Tip: You can easily recognize created Articles and Journeys in Article Studio by their icons:
- 📝 Articles have a purple document icon
- 🛤️ Journeys have a green connected path icon
🗂️ Choosing Your Format
When you click Create Article in Article Studio, you’ll be asked to choose:
- 📝 New Article – Great for simple one-page content that doesn’t need a flow.
- 👣 New Journey – Ideal when you want members to follow a structured path.
📌 Note: Once you choose a format, you can’t switch between them later — so make sure you start with the right one!
