✍️ Creating Content in Article Studio

In Article Studio, you can create two types of content: Articles and Journeys. Each format supports different kinds of experiences — so you can choose the one that fits your goal best, whether you're publishing onboarding programs, learning journeys, visual merchandising surveys, store checklists, or anything else.

⚖️ What’s the difference between Article and Journey?

Format Best for... How it works
Article News, checklists, visual merchandising, or reference content Members can see everything all at once, and can complete actions in any order.
Journey Training, onboarding, or learning paths Members complete sections and actions one-by-one.

💡 Tip: You can easily recognize created Articles and Journeys in Article Studio by their icons:

  • 📝 Articles have a purple document icon
  • 🛤️ Journeys have a green connected path icon

🗂️ Choosing Your Format

When you click Create Article in Article Studio, you’ll be asked to choose:

  • 📝 New Article – Great for simple one-page content that doesn’t need a flow.
  • 👣 New Journey – Ideal when you want members to follow a structured path.

📌 Note: Once you choose a format, you can’t switch between them later — so make sure you start with the right one!
